Ordered to use on my long frizzy prone hair, the product comes in a small 50ml glass pump bottle so ideal to travel with inside your toiletry bag. The product is really easy to dispense and you have control on how much or how little product you want to use. The product does have an herbal fragrance to it but not to overpowering and it wears off.

I applied a few drops to my wet hair and then styled it as normal. It leaves my hair feeling really soft with less flyways and my hair staying straighter.

Overall this product works for my hair.

The texture of this product is oily but not sticky or gloomy and applies evenly on damp hair (haven't tried it yet on a dry) and has a lovely citrusy scent.

I'm really impressed with this umberto giannini "the frizz" oil, as I have gotten older my hair has definitely got a lot more frizz than it ever had and I needed something to smooth it, as my hair has thinned out any oil I have used makes it look greasy. But this one didn't I was really surprised it smoothed my hair and didn't overload it, the product is super light weight and glossy.
Then scent is sandalwood, but it's only light and it has an almost lavender smell it's really nice and clean.
The glass bottle is 50ml in size and you use approx 8 to 10 drops each application so the bottle will last a while.
After I had dried and styled my hair I couldnt feel any coating or greasy on my hair so over all I'm really impressed with this oil!

I was particularly drawn to it, because I have very long (hip length), thick and wavy hair, that is a challenge to tame on a regular basis. Having also been provided the Frizz Fix shampoo & conditioner, in exchange for an unbiased review, I felt that the oil would be a nice supplement to that routine.

I like the design of the bottle - it comes with a cap cover/lock, which would be really helpful at preventing leaks, meaning that you could easily pop the bottle into a toiletry bag.

As directed, I put 10 pumps of oil in my wet (not soaking hair), worked it through with a detangling brush, and blow-dried it. I did notice an herbal scent to it, but this did not linger, once my hair was dry. Overall, it was left feeling sleeker, and much less frizzy than I expected. Happily, there was also no sticky residue left behind - my hair did not feel weighed down or greasy.

In summary, a good value item, that I personally would continue to use.

My hair generally tends to get pretty frizzy after washing and particularly in humid conditions. This frizz oil comes in a small 50ml bottle. It is easy to apply using the pump bottle and you only need a few drops as it is quite thick. After washing hair, you just apply between 8 to 10 drops and work it through your hair, massaging it with your fingers. You can also apply it to flyaways on dry hair. The oil does not look or feel too greasy when applied, it is very lightweight and you cannot really see it when you put it through your hair, however, if you run your hands through it, you can feel the difference. My hair felt smoother, softer and straighter. It uses a couple of innovative technologies that are cropping up more and more in hair products these days - bond repair and metal detox. The bottle is small and portable so I shall be looking to take it away with me on my next holiday as I am always suffering from frizzy hair in hot destinations.

The bottle contains 50ml of the, pale yellow, oil. I use this on hair wash days, when my hair tends to become a little frizzy and unmanageable. You need to pump 8 - 10 drops which are then worked through your hair. You can either use it on wet hair, prior to styling, or after a blow dry.
I tend to use it on my dried hair, where I find that the, light, oil is very easy to distribute throughout my entire head.

I've used frizz oils on my hair for absolute years - since they first came out I think!

I usually stick to one brand but recently have been trying others as well.

I use gloves when putting my hair products on as I have dermititis so my products have to also agree with my hands when touching my dry hair as well as giving a nice finish and stopping the frizz.

My hair is naturally curly and dry from highlights.
I did just use this oil and didn't add in my extra frizz cream so I could see the results. My hair when dried naturally was quite shiny and not overly frizzy and I found the serum quite thick but my hair didn't feel sticky.

The only issue I have is that I usually use one with a heat protection in to protect against the hairdryer or straighteners if I use them afterwards but this hair oil doesn't seem to include heat protection. I did try it on some flyaways after so for me, I think i will use it afterwards on dry hair as a finisher - rather than on wet unless I plan on letting it dry naturally.

The pump lets you control how much oil comes out which is perfect as I've got fine hair so can't use too much. Smells pleasant but once hair is dry it's not really noticeable. I apply a small amount through towel dried hair then a small amount once my hair is dry to smooth any flyaways. Leaves my hair soft, smooth and looking shinier.

I use about 8 pumps (which is the amount that they recommend) and apply it to my damp hair before blow drying it. I have quite curly hair (3a) and usually a lot of frizz but this has really helped maintain the frizz and leaves a lovely shine as well.
Usually by day 2/3 there's a lot of frizz build up but now there's barely any and I can just apply a small amount of this to tame any.

Lovely oil that's worked well on my fine thin hair. I apply a very small amount to the palms of my hands, warm it up and then smooth it over my lengths. I do this on damp, partially dry hair and it's helped give my curls definition without weighing them down. Love this x

Im so impressed by this hair oil by Umberto Giannini. I ordered it with anti frizz treatment in mind but this product is so much more. Not only helped with my frizzy hair but also made them smoother and look healthy and shiny. On top of that this product contains UV protection so its perfect for summer. Formula is light and easy to use. I love the scent. It smells very luxurious and scent last on my hair for whole day.

As the consistency of this hair oil is quite thick a little of this goes a long way. From time to time i will plait my hair before bed and take out in the morning for a wavy look but as a result my hair can become frizzy and so have been using this oil to help eliminate the frizz. Only a few drops of this is required and i just simply rub a few drops into my hands and apply to the ends of the hair as well as the flyaways at the roots. It makes my hair soft, smooth and makes my curls look more natural and healthy. It smells really good too and has a sandalwood scent which is rather pleasant. I will continue to use this hair oil as although it is thick it is lightweight and not too heavy and i am happy with the results achieved from this.

The repair oil has a pleasant smell to it and although it has quite a thick consistency when it comes out of the bottle once I've rubbed my hands together it goes on my hair evenly and gets rid of all my fly away hair. I really like that I can use this on both wet and dry hair. It leaves my hair looking and feeling softer and healthier.

Although this is a small bottle you only need 8-10 drops of this at a time so it will last a fairly long time so it is also good value for money. Both of my daughters want to “borrow” my bottle which means I would never see it again but I am impressed enough by this that I might just treat them to their own bottle of it.

I have a lot of frizz and this certainly helps me a lot when straightening my hair, in addition to having a great price compared to big brands, it has good quality and smells great! Great value for money, I will definitely order again.

Both myself and my daughter have been using this frizz oil and we are both really happy with it. It looks like honey in the bottle and even when you dispense it onto your hands, it has a honey-like consistency. I was a bit worried it would be too thick and difficult to work into my hair, however once I rubbed it between my hands it was really easy to apply to my hair and distribute evenly.

The fragrance of the oil is very pleasant and not at all strong which I prefer and you soon can't really smell it on your hair anyway.

My daughter's hair is very curly and frizzy and she likes to apply it while her hair is still damp and before she styles it. My hair only has a slight wave to it, but is very thick and a bit unruly, so I like to apply a few drops to my dry hair to give it a sleeker look. We have both found the oil very beneficial and will certainly continue to use it in the future.

This one is really good. Consistency - it it very thick, much thicker than the ones I have. It applies to hair easily and I'd say better than my other branded ones.

It doesn't leave any oily looking residue on hair and keeps it in place. I see the difference in strands without seeing oil applied.
I feel the difference when touching my hair where the oil was applied versus where it wasn't. Without oil - the strands are much drier.

I also see and feel the difference as I don't have to wash my hands after applying it. Other oils leave residue on my hands which I need to wash away always. This one, doesn't. That means it is absorbed into the hair quickly, not covering it.

The smell is lovely and healthy. Strong initially but this goes away. Has a fresh smell of some lemony ingredients mixed with something I know but cannot identify.

I think price wise (£10.95) is good - other branded oils are in the same price range if not more expensive. The bottle is small (50ml) but I think it is twice as others.

Good purchase and highly recommended.

I have used many products from this range in the past and have always found them to be good. This is no exception.
The product, when it arrives, does look slightly cloudy, rather than bright and clear as pictured in the product description.

After a LOT of pumping initially, the product is dispensed in satisfactory quantities. I tend to rub y hands together with the product before applying it to my hair to allow it to evenly distributed. There is a light scent to the product which does not seem to linger.

I have straight hair and my hair feels really soft and looks straight and refined after using this. The ends are tamed.
