This is great to use in the shower to ensure that my shampoo and conditioner are distributed evenly and all my hair is covered by them.
The silicon bristles need my hair to be wet to glide, they tend to drag and snag if my hair is dry so I favour using it in the shower.
It's well made, comfortable to hold and does a good job.

This sillicone scalp brush and massager by Umberto Giannini is great. It is well made, durable and sturdy. It is also comfortable to hold and very easy to use. The sillicone tips are firm but not hard which is perfect. Overall this is a great quality hair tool that I use everytime I wash my hair.

My husband and daughter both suffer with dandruff and my hairdresser reccomended getting one of these to use while showering. It's actually been great! I love how nice and soft it is when you hold it as if fits in your palm perfectly and they both said how gorgeous it feels when using it like a little massage 🤣

It's definitely helped the dandruff reduce that's for sure it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be in both of them, it's so easy to use and clean and for the quality a great price, yes i would recommend!

This Umberto Giannini Stimulating Scalp Massager Brush is really good quality compared to ones I've used before. It's comfortable to hold and isn't too hard yet is absolutely effective in the sense it feels fabulous when massaging your scalp.

It stimulates the scalp for blood flow and definitely helps with dandruff from experience. I can't say whether it actually promotes hair growth though.

I did find that as I have thin and tangle prone hair, for me, it was best used with hair oil masks rather than shampoo as it did tangle into knots on my crown otherwise.

I've been using scalp massager brushes for years and I can say this is another good one from Umberto Giannini and one of the better ones I have used (quality and effectiveness wise).

The brush really helps with making sure your shampoo/conditioner/hair treatment reaches the base of your scalp and has a chance to work into it. The bristles are firm enough to work, but not too firm that they hurt your head. I also like the colour that fits into a modern bathroom (none of these garish pinks).

Despite the plus points, the RRP is a bit on the expensive side considering how many cheaper options there are to choose from. Still, I would recommend this and have even adopted it as my new brush.

The bristles are tougher than expected but still soft. They get a good scratch onto the scalp which feels great but also helps clean the scalp and remove my dandruff.

Easy to hold and gets through any hair with ease. It's well designed as the handle part is comfy whilst using it. Good for using to help give your scalp a massage and maybe make sure any hair treatment your using gets right into the scalp area. Doesn't feel like it's likely to break which is good as not as cheap as some but then again it's a branded hair item.

This scalp massager is good quality and it's very effective. It's comfortable to hold. The tips give your scalp a good massage without causing any damage as the tips are rounded.

I'd often wondered about scalp massagers so I was pleased to be able to try this version from haircare specialist Umberto Giannini. It can be used on wet or dry hair and may help with dandruff - I got this to generally promote hair health.

The main reason I'd not already got a scalp massager? - It looks spiky and like it might hurt. However, the spikes are actually hollow and made from a soft silicone material. So this is pleasant and invigorating to use. - which means it won't be a one-day wonder. Well made, this tool seems decent value for money too.

The nodes on this scalp scrubber are fairly soft and the tips are rounded so there's no harsh scratching or damage to the scalp or hair during use. It feels really nice and soft. The ergonomic handle makes it so easy to use in the shower even when my hands get really soapy. With other scalp scrubbers I've found my hands slip and the scrub thing falls to the floor but this one stays put. It's on the larger side but I love it x

This brush is just the right level of firmness.
Feels good on my scalp, especially when used with hair oil or scalp scrub.
Part of my daily routine now - even use on dry hair for scalp stimulation.

Did a great job massaging my scalp whilst shampooing to get rid of dead skin and product build-up. The silicone bristles are just right and not too scratchy.

Despite my hair being exceptionally long and thick, it was quite good at detangling my hair as long as I worked from the ends up.

Well-made product using silicone which not only makes it lightweight, but also easier to clean. The soft bristles help me clean my scalp thoroughly. Simple but effective.

I use this in conjunction with the Umberto Gianni scalp serum to hydrate my scalp and promote hair growth.

The brush is comfy to hold, wet oflr dry and the silicon spikes feel really nice on the skin.

I use this with the oil before I wash my hair and also during when I have shampooed and Conditioned, just to help move the product around on my head.

Feels really relaxing and is just the right size for you to hold comfortably.

The bristles are nice and soft so it doesn't hurt your scalp. Good size to have in your hand so you'll have a decent grip when massaging your scalp. I used this for when I apply serum on my hair and the bristles are firm so you know you're getting some blood flowing and bonus for it not hurting.

I had a cheap plastic one I left behind in a hotel - decided to treat myself to this one - so glad I did. The difference was unreal. Whilst is twice the price of the cheap one I had - it makes a world of difference. Its bigger, easier to hold, doesn't scratch but rather massages gently.

You get what you pay for and its worth every penny

I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend's opinions.

This brush is nicely made and nice to use. It is a bit pricey but I do enjoy my boyfriend giving me a scalp massage with this so it's a keeper for me.

This is a great scalp massager and is much better than others I've tried. The brush part is soft enough to be flexible on your scalp a long enough get through thick hair, but the handle is strong and easy to hold. Would really recommend for scalp stimulation to promote growth, plus it's like a mini head massage when you use it so I would definitely recommend.

Scalp stimulation is important for hair growth (promotes blood flow/circulation to hair follicles)
But as I have curly hair, there's limited opportunities to brush it.
So, in shower scalp massage is what I do
This brush is silicone based with the right level of firmness to the nodules with flexibility so it doesn't hurt.
Any residue conditioner blasts off easily
Bit pricey for what it is so knocked off one star.

I'm a recent convert to this type of silicone scalp scrub brushes. I so regret not trying them years ago. I suffer from atopic eczema which can result in a build-up of dry skin on the scalp. Years ago, I tried a hard plastic scalp brush manufactured by a major hair care brand and I absolutely hated it, it felt hard and painful on the scalp and tangled up my hair.

The silicone brush bristles are a bit shorter and more densely spaced than what I'm used, yet they still do the trick of really getting deep into onto the scalp and as they are flexible hair doesn't get tangled as long as you don't go crazy with it. What I'm not loving is the shape of the handle, it just doesn't feel comfortable in my small hand. Also, this isn't made of one single moulded piece so there is the possibly of water ingress at a later date after more use and wear.

Loving my Umberto Giannini Scalp Massager Brush! It's like a spa treatment for my head in the shower. The soft bristles feel amazing, giving my scalp a massage that's both relaxing and invigorating. Big plus that it works on wet or dry hair. After using it, my scalp definitely feels cleaner and free of product buildup, leaving my hair fresher for longer. It even helps detangle my hair while I massage, which saves me a bunch of time in the shower.
If you have a very sensitive scalp, you might want to start with gentle pressure to see how it feels. Overall, I'm really happy with this scalp massager brush!
