Soladey 5 combines light, water and patented Japanese ionic technology to offer a completely different brushing experience.

Unlike a conventional toothbrush, Soladey 5 can be used with water alone – no toothpaste required. Its titanium dioxide (TiO₂) semiconductor works with light and water to activate the ionic brushing system, supporting everyday plaque removal and oral cleaning. The technology has been clinically studied for its plaque-reducing performance and has been developed through joint research with leading universities in Japan, including Osaka University, The Nippon Dental University, Kanagawa Dental University and Kinki University. The technology is patented in Japan, the United States and China.

The built-in solar panel works with sunlight as well as indoor light. No batteries, charging, cables or electricity are required. Simply wet the brush head and semiconductor area with water and brush as you normally would. You can also use your preferred toothpaste if you wish.

The reusable handle comes with a 3-Row Honeycomb Point Brush Head and is designed to work with replaceable brush heads, so you can replace the brush head without replacing the entire handle.
