My ageing hair seems to have a problem with humidity and tends to go frizzy quickly. This Umberto Giannini Banana Coconut Air Dry Cream de-frizzes and defines my curls.
I love this cream on my hair as it not only tames my curls and leaves my hair soft, it doesn’t feel greasy or crunchy after. Plus it smells so delicious!
This cream is perfect for detangling too and also acts as heat protection giving a good base layer for styling.
I would definitely recommend.

I have naturally curly hair which I tend to leave to air dry to avoid frizz. I use curl creams as I prefer a cream on my hair to a mousse as I tend to find the latter can be a little sticky and make my hair feel stiff. I jumped at the chance to try this curl creme as I liked the sound of the banana and coconut blend and the brand is one which is trusted and well known. I applied a little of the cream after washing and towel drying my hair, smoothing it through with my fingers and then scrunching my hair to offer my curls some bounce. The cream was a yellow colour and had a very strong banana scent which reminded me of the foam banana sweets my sister and I used to get when we were little. The cream applied well and left my hair feeling soft and natural without any weight or residue. My curls then air dried well, with minimal frizz and felt soft to touch. I am really pleased with this curl cream which I feel offers great value as it is priced at around £5 cheaper than the curl cream product I have been buying.

This leave in hair product smells similar to sun lotion which could possibly be a mixture of the ingredients coconut and shea butter.

It 'smells' very much like summer.

It's a lightweight conditioner with a medium hold suitable for frizzy or dry hair and gives defined curls that hold without the 'crispy' feeling of using mousse.

If you are getting this then you better love the smell of bananas. Couldn’t understand why mine arrived in a plastic bag but I understood as soon as I opened it. As you can smell the banana scent straight away even through the tube.
The styling cream is quite thick but easily applied to hair when wet. And I find it helps me get a comb through my tangled ends.
I did find it a bit tricky to find a balance between enough and too little product. But it’s really good at frizz reduction when drying with a diffuser.

I have curly hair and I don't use much heat on my hair due to damage, but I found this air cream to control my frizz and reduce my hair dryness,
It smells delicious straight from the package, and it is a thick cream, for those with straight hair I don't think this will work out because it's too thick.
Upon using I had to see how much I should use it, but because my hair takes well heavy products I found out that I needed a little bit more than normal,
It reduced my frizz while air drying, my hair felt smooth to the touch and because I love volume this didn't take my hair volume,
The ingredients are good and I don't find this cream expensive

My daughter has long curly hair and it can be a right pain to do in the mornings before school however this stuff is great for de-tangling and the fact it is made for air drying is great as some morning's when were rushing this comes in clutch to have in the house.

If you are looking for something like this i would recommend it.

My daughter has very long, curly hair that she hates having blow dried but ends up looking like a giant bush after leaving it to naturally dry.

This stuff smells lovely, like foam bananas and can be put on towel dried hair and left to do its magic, it calms her frizz a lot, even better if you can comb it through a few times while its air drying, its perfect for pre school hair washes.

I don't always want to fully dry my hair after I wash it, so I've been testing this out. I have lots of fine hair, so it looks thicker than it actually is, but easily gets frizzy.

Be aware that it has a very fake banana scent, so if you don't like that as a fragrance then you might want to avoid this particular option! Personally I love it, it smells just like banana milkshake.

This smoothes on well and seems to do a good job of taming the frizz. I think it's a good option if you need to control a bit of frizzy but don't want to have to straighten it or use heat.

It's not perfect but does a good job!

Smells lovely and works for me. I like to air dry my hair and this is perfect for defining my curls.

I bought this to try, I have curly hair that I air dry. In damp weather or if I use a hair dryer, it tends to go frizzy. The first time I used it I was impressed as it left my hair shiny and frizz free. It is less than half the price of the air dry cream that I usually use and with that I still need to add a serum. My down side is that the banana smell lingers and whenever I touch my hair it seems to reactivate the smell. I will put up with the smell for the results, but I wish there was a version with a more herb or floral scent.

The smell is amazing so good. Easy to apply and style hair with bonus that’s it’s air dry so no need to blow dry the smell stays in your hair mine is fine so you don’t need to use lots but it does the job great! Speedy delivery.

Before bed I put this in your hair let it dry and all that and it has a slight smell of bananas but nothing amazing was a bit greasy but in the morning it was okay ish. The next morning throughout the day I kept getting whiffes of my hair and the only way I can explain the spell is stale milk which of course made me paranoid. I will try it again but I don’t think I’ll be buying again, sorry for the rubbish review but I can’t stand being ripped off. PUT SOME MORE BANANA SCENT IN IT & you could probably just about pull it off.

This worked better for my daughters hair which is more 2b some loose waves and a few springy curls. Didn’t work as well for mine, more loose waves.

So far love it! Strong but not unpleasant banana-coconut fragrance, very tropical. Bouncy, shiny curls.

This smells great. Kind of like banana laffy taffy from my childhood. It does seem to be a bit drying, but I may not have thr 'hows' of usage down yet. 75 percent gray curly hair makes for any new product a learning curve.

I like the smell and the fact that it doesn't leave a white cast after you crunch your dry hair for volume. Works great on wavy thick hair.
